The Prayer Chaplain Program was first created with the intention of extending the hands and feet of one minister, in one ministry. What once started small has grown into a worldwide program with trainers across the country, Santa Domingo, and Africa leading Prayer Chaplain Programs and engaging their congregants in sacred service. The program engages congregants through an invitation into a deeper experience of prayer.
They will pray with you, listen to you, and hold what they hear in confidence. Unlike hospital chaplains, Unity chaplains are not ordained and are not trained to counsel. Our chaplains make monthly wellness calls to all church members, offering to pray with them.

Prayer Chaplains are specially trained to pray with individuals over areas of concern or celebrations. Below is a sample of what you might experience with a Prayer Chaplain. As we join heart to heart, we center ourselves in the presence of God and rise above any thought of challenge or concern.
Both youth and adults struggle to make consistent long term commitments such as showing up to youth group every Sunday evening for nine months. Short-term small groups are a great option for going deep even with busy folks. Trauma informed ministry recognizes that teenagers have complex experiences.
