I photographed my first gay wedding in which saw Josie and Pankti get married on the beach in Provincetown, Massachusetts. Now, nearly half of my business is gay wedding photography. This experience has also contributed towards my willingness to think and talk about our weddings differently.
There is no ignoring it. We wedding photographers are living in a different era. Traditions are being broken left and right, and I love it.
Kim and her partner Krysia have over 25 years experience photographing weddings on four different continents and have now added many lesbian and gay weddings to that list. Having now photographed numerous Civil Partnerships and more recently Gay Weddings, they have learned through their experiences, that these occasions are individual, special and unique - there are no traditions to observe and no precedence set. For this reason they are happy to create, tailor-make or adapt their packages to meet your individual requirements, however, all of their package options are available for Gay Weddings.
As a gay wedding photographer London, I love documenting same-sex weddings around the capital and also all around the UK. My approach to a gay wedding is the same as to any other. I focus on connection and emotion between two people in love telling a beautiful story of their day. Not forcing anything but letting things unfold in a natural way.
For Cinemascope-Wedding is always a pleasure to have the opportunity to film a gay wedding. We offer our services to both brides and grooms, tailored to meet the needs of lesbian and gay men couples when registering their love for one another in gay marriage. Every same-sex marriage is unique, as people are so different.
My objective on your day is to capture the most meaningful, defining, all out hysterical, quiet, tender and pivotal moments. I'm not there to only catch The way things looked but to record how things felt. My style is contemporary, spontaneous, romantic and fun with a dash of traditional mixed in for good measure.
Its always a pleasure to photograph and document gay, lesbian, same sex weddings or civil partnerships. Having had a civil partnership myself a few years ago I completely understand the unique requirements and needs of same sex couples, weddings and civil partnerships. We can't rate Graham highly enough, when choosing our wedding photographer we searched the web for hours, finally narrowing it down to two, within seconds of meeting Graham we instantly knew we had found our photographer for our big day, Grahams passion, energy and pride in his work immediately had us sold. We glanced through several albums in Grahams portfolio to get a good idea of the kind of style we wanted for our photos.
