This week they are back to share their top tips for Beginner ballet students. Read on! If you have always wanted to try ballet, or if you are on your ballet journey but feeling discouraged or that there is no point, these women are the perfect pick me up!
These classes are for those who wish to refresh their technique and revive their love of ballet having taken classes as a child or adult. The classes focus on understanding the core principles of ballet, including basic ballet positions, terms and movements that will help you to improve your posture, co-ordination and strength. They are a great way to improve on ballet technique, core strength and muscle tone.
At The Dance Hub, we are dedicated to providing ballet technique classes for all, including non-professional and post professional adults, as well as for children and youth. Ballet, when taught carefully, especially with respect to the needs of the adult dancer, is a gateway to a healthy, youthful body and mind, and supports proficiency in other dance forms. The Dance Hub is pleased to offer adult classes that range from the absolute beginner through professional levels.
Open to teens age 14 and up and adults of all ages, this program is a great way to experience dance training, stay in shape and have fun! Three levels of ballet classes are offered: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. There is live piano accompaniment for all ballet classes!
The Ballet Espressivo School, founded inspecializes in adult dance education. Reap the benefits of a full low-impact workout that conditions and tones the body improves core strength, flexibility, alignment, and posture! Donna is a wonderful teacher who pays a lot of attention to each student in the class.
All adult classes are open to those 16 and over and of all levels of experience. Ballet Barre Fitness is also available to those looking for an even more rigorous work out. Adult ballet classes help to improve posture, balance, strength and flexibility in a fun and relaxed environment.
Wonderfully Made Dance strives to provide a safe and compassionate environment for both children and adults to experience the joy of the artist within them through classical ballet training. Every year, CARE presents three public performances. We also participate in arts outreach through free school performances and community arts events. We also offer jazz, modern, tap, yoga and more.
